FUN DIP/ Where is your favourite underground electronic scene?
BOOFY/This is tricky man, I’m really not sure anymore. A lot of scenes are pulling influence from all corners. I have a healthy respect for anyone making sounds and getting recognition, but even for the genre’s I love and make, I’m very particular about what I listen to within it. Most the time if it has some heavy approach to low-end, I’m involved.
FUN DIP/ Where are you currently drawing musical influence from?
BOOFY/ At the moment, I’m writing with major influence from Dancehall/Bashment. It’s all I would hear as a youth growing up. I’ve really started to appreciate how it’s made such a big impact on everything we listen to today.
FUN DIP/ If you could collaborate with any classical composer on a track, who would it be?
BOOFY/ Don’t know if it’s classical or not, but Bernard Herrmann. His string game was lethal.
FUN DIP/ If you could become one cartoon character for life, who would it be?
BOOFY/ Plank from Ed, Edd & Eddy. Everyone needs a goon riding shotgun like Plank.
FUN DIP/ Who is the bigger Gangster, Dumbledore or Gandalf the Grey?
BOOFY /Dumbledore by far.
